Tension In Kogi State Over The Arrest Of Funsho Olumoko, Former Chairman Of Ijumu LGA

There is tension in Kogi state following the arrest of Funsho Olumoko, former chairman of Ijumu local government area of the state. Vanguard reports that police apprehended Olumoko in his Ekinrin Adde residence at about 1.30am on Tuesday, March 22, and took him to an unknown destination.

The president elect has issued a red card to serving top government officials who in recent times besieged his residence in Daura, Katsina to lobby for retention of their positions.
Buhari, was livid last week when the current Comptroller-General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde, visited his residence in Daura to pay homage.
